Very loud recording of an arcade i went to recently. Unfortunately wasn't alone so i had to cut it down quite a bit. It's in crusty mono quality because of my phone (moto g power) and its recorder app (ez voice recorder) but i suppose i can call it lo-fi if i wanted to. So i will!.

These sounds are produced by the instrument called rainstick. It has little pebbles inside that produce some interesting slide noises when held upside down or inclined. I hope they can help you in one of your projects.

Multiple gunshots recorded at an indoor gun range. Many of the shots are from an ak47, including single shots and full auto. There is some background noise, but there are some good clear shots in there that can be easily cut out and used. Unfortunately the original recording is only mp3 and the recorder had auto-gain set so some shots are recorded louder than others, but there are still some usable shots in there.

It's a recording of wooden door in an old village house getting closed rapidly. There is some overhead silence in this recording to allow making a smooth transision for this sample (fade-in and fade-out), because there is some background noise and little sound of me moving around. Here's my first field recording and first upload on here. I recorded my friend's fireplace in his apartment for a theater production through my college for which i was the sound designer and sound board operator. I used a zoom q3hd with its built-in stereo xy microphones at about a foot or so away from the fire (on the bricks directly encasing the fireplace) with some make-shift baffling around the fireplace (safe, i know). This track is an edited version, a sort of "best of".

This is my first recording using my binaural mic. I took a walk to meet my wife for lunch and decided to record it. It was windy outside, and even with the standard foam wind protection, you can still hear some wind rumble. It might be fixed using some low cut filtering but i wanted to post it as is. This take started inside my recording studio and ended in a fairly large avenue with lots of traffic (cars and motorcycles). There is a pause on the recording by 01:59, when i had to change the mic cable position. Signal chain: roland cs-10em (with foam windscreen) > sony pcm-m10 (rec level: manual, at about 3,5; mic sensitivity: low; limiter: off; low cut filter: disabled).
